Community midwives
The community midwives are involved in all aspects of maternity care, holding antenatal and booking clinics at the surgery. A community midwife will also visit you and your baby at home, usually until your baby is 10 days old longer if necessary and then they will transfer your and your baby’s care to the health visitor.
The community midwives can be contacted at the Stroud Maternity Hospital on 01453 562140.
