We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using the Anima service.
Adult social care
Gloucestershire county council helps you find your own solutions to stay independent, or may offer you some short term support to get you back on your feet, staying by your side until you are confidently living an independent life. For those who need a plan for their long term care and support, the council works with partners and providers to offer the highest quality of support that it can.
The role of adult social care at the county council is to make sure adults (aged 18 or over) and their carers (including young carers) who need care or support in their daily lives can get the help and advice they need to live as independently as possible. Care and support can be a mixture of practical, financial and emotional support for people who need extra help to manage their lives and be independent.
Patients at Price’s Mill Surgery can self refer to adult social care by visiting:
Antenatal appointments
Antenatal clinics are held by a midwife on Tuesday afternoons. You can self refer to the midwifery service by visiting:
Baby 8 week check and immunisations
Baby checks and immunisations can be dealt with by the practice nurse and a GP during normal surgery hours.
Cervical screening
Invitations for cervical screening are the responsibility of the Integrated Care Board (ICB). You may subsequently receive a reminder from us, please book an appointment with the practice nurse.
Childhood immunisations
We offer all routine childhood immunisations to our patients. Invitations are sent out centrally when your child is due for these but you may also receive reminders from the practice. Nasal flu vaccination is also offered annually to two and three year olds.
Information about childhood immunisations can be found on the NHS choices website or through speaking to the nurse or GP in the surgery.
Should you not wish your child to have these immunisations, we will require written confirmation of your decision by printing and completing our child immunisation form (PDF) and returning it to the surgery.
Community wellbeing service
The Stroud and Berkeley Vale community wellbeing team is part of a countywide service and may be able to offer support and advice to guide you during a short or long term health situation.

Advice about the full range of contraceptive methods is available from our nurse practitioner, Zoe. Contraceptive implants and coils can be fitted or changed.

Flu and pneumonia
Clinics for seasonal flu and pneumonia vaccination are held annually from September. Dates for these clinics are posted in the practice reception area, widely advertised in the local community and posted on the practice web site. If you have missed a clinic, please contact the practice using the Anima service.
Patients with asthma, diabetes, heart, kidney or chest diseases and also patients over 65 or immunocompromised are encouraged to attend. Carers and healthcare workers are also entitled to be immunised.
